One Premier League club could make an “opportunistic move” for a Manchester United wantaway before the transfer deadline.

The Reds are still active in the window in the final week, with a deal for Manuel Ugarte expected to be agreed in the coming days.

He will join Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui as the first-team summer signings at Old Trafford.

Several exits have been confirmed in recent days. Facundo Pellistri, Maxi Oyedele, and Will Fish have all departed the club.

They follow in the footsteps of Raphaël Varane, Anthony Martial, and Willy Kambwala, who left earlier in the transfer market.

There is another departure that could occur in the final week of the window, as Jadon Sancho attracts interest from various clubs across Europe.

A report from The Athletic has explained that Juventus have opened communications with United for the winger. Yet, it was clarified that finding a financial agreement that satisfies all parties is expected to be difficult.

Paris Saint-Germain has also previously been linked to the 24-year-old but a move now seems unlikely after they signed 19-year-old Désiré Doué.

It has now been revealed by The Guardian that Premier League rivals Chelsea are keeping an eye on Sancho’s situation at Old Trafford.

The report explained that while nothing is advanced, The Blues have not ruled out an “opportunistic move” for the English player in the final days of the window.

Sancho joined the Reds in the summer of 2021 but has failed to have a significant influence since then. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund after falling out with Erik ten Hag.
