Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro send the same message to ‘incredible’ star after emotional Man Utd exit
Kobbie Mainoo and Leny Yoro have sent the same message to one ‘incredible’ star after an emotional Manchester United exit.
The Reds are expected to complete their fifth summer addition to the first-team squad when Manuel Ugarte joins the club before the transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, several exits have been completed in recent days. Maxi Oyedele’s departure from Old Trafford was confirmed earlier this week, with the midfielder moving to Polish club Legia.
The Reds have a sell-on clause included in the deal, and Oydele has penned an emotional farewell to the club he has been at since the age of eight.
On Instagram, he wrote: “My time at Manchester United has finally come to end. I want to say thank you to the only club I’ve ever known.
“Honoured to say I’ve been at the club for 12 years and had some unbelievable experiences with some amazing teammates. Thank you to all the coaches, staff and the fans, I will never forget the memories I have made at this club.
“I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best as I leave ready to start the next chapter of my career. This club will always be my home and once again, thank you.”
Many teammates flooded to the comments section to wish Oyedele the best in his next adventure. Kobbie Mainoo wrote, “My brother, all the best🤞🏾”, while Leny Yoro responded, “All the best bro ❤️❤️”
The likes of Harry Amass, Ethan Wheatley and Toby Collyer also sent similar messages to the 19-year-old.
Legia’s sporting director Jacek Zielinski has expressed his happiness at completing the deal for the highly-rated United youngster.
“He has incredible potential, and we want to create conditions for him to have a chance to prove his scale,” Zielinski said.
“The competition in the midfield is strong. I think that Maxi – with his technical skills, physical condition and tactical sense – will not be in a lost position amidst this competition.”
