MUTV pundit highlights unnoticed moment from Man Utd star vs Brentford that could spark his comeback

Alejandro Garnacho scored a super goal to launch Manchester United’s comeback win against Brentford on the weekend.
The Reds earned a 2-1 victory over Brentford on Saturday afternoon, despite falling behind just before half-time.
Second-half goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Højlund secured a crucial three points for Erik ten Hag’s side.
Several players delivered standout performances, with Jonny Evans among those earning praise for his defensive work.
In attack, Marcus Rashford, Garnacho, and Højlund impressed, with Garnacho receiving the club’s Player of the Match award for his decisive contribution.
Casemiro’s smart play for Garnacho goal
Garnacho’s goal was a great example of the attacking play United are capable of – with Rashford’s delightful cross finding the Argentine at the back-post, and he made the finish look easier than it was.
However, when discussing the goal after full-time, Ben Thornley highlighted that Casemiro played an important role in the build-up to the goal.
The midfielder helped drag Brentford’s right-back, Sepp van den Berg, inside the pitch, which allowed Garnacho the space to receive the ball from Rashford’s cross.
“It is a super cross [from Rashford],” said MUTV pundit and former player Thornley on United’s post-match reaction show.
“Van den Berg gets sucked a little bit into the middle, I think it was Casemiro who was there, and that just left the space [for Garnacho].
“Don’t get me wrong, it still needed a really good finish on it, an accurate finish, because you’ve often seen them sky and go over but he controlled it brilliantly.
“Everything about that second half was Manchester United, and that is what we want to see going forward.”
Casemiro has golden chance for comeback
It was a solid display from Casemiro in his first Premier League start since the disaster against Liverpool last month.
Many expected the Brazilian to be out of the spotlight for the majority of the season but right now he has a golden chance to find form at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo is out of action for several weeks and Manuel Ugarte is still not completely trusted to start consistently. Toby Collyer was also missing against Brentford.
Casemiro will certainly hope to build on his performance and try to show the consistency he delivered during his first season at the club.
