Erik ten Hag sends PSG £75 million message amid Marcus Rashford bid rumours
Erik ten Hag has sent PSG a strong message after rumours emerged surrounding a potential bid for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford this summer.
There have been many rumours circling Manchester United regarding the future of Marcus Rashford following a season that has not lived up to his first under Erik ten Hag.
Last campaign, Rashford scored a brilliant 30 goals for his childhood club, helping them win the Carabao Cup trophy and qualify for the Champions League by finishing third in the Premier League.

However, a poor showing in 2023/24 has seen Rashford’s form fall off, with the player having scored just seven goals this season and being outshone by those such as Rasmus Højlund and Alejandro Garnacho in attack.
In the last week, there have been emerging reports that PSG are planning to test United’s resolve this summer with a bid worth £75 million for Rashford.
Ten Hag, however, has directly addressed this, explaining that he does not intend to see the player leave Old Trafford this summer.
“We didn’t re-sign him last season for four years with the intention of selling him,” Ten Hag said when questioned about the rumours of a bid from PSG this summer.
“He should be part of this project.”
One report claimed that it would take a figure of at least £100 million for United to even consider selling Rashford, but one upside to any potential sale is that the entire figure would be able to be presented as pure profit on the balance sheet as Rashford was an academy graduate.
