The Premier League has since confirmed the rescheduled date for the fixture.
Following Palace’s exit from the FA Cup in their third-round loss against Southampton, space has appeared in later in January.
The confirmed fixture date is Wednesday the 18th of January, with the game kicking off at 20:00 GMT.
This will sit between two difficult fixtures for United. They host Manchester City on the 14th before welcoming Arsenal on the 22nd.

United also need to play Leeds United twice this season after that derby was postponed after there were limited police services on the day of the game due to the Queen’s funeral.
Ten Hag’s men will be expecting to collect three points against Palace, but it won’t be easy, especially away from Old Trafford.
United are currently on a seven-game winning streak and have had their FA Cup fourth-round opposition revealed.
