Manchester United’s André Onana timeline revealed as deal could be completed this week
Manchester United’s deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana could be agreed this week.
On Wednesday, it was reported that Inter Milan were demanding £43 million plus performance-related bonuses for André Onana.
It was said in the report that should Manchester United decide to bid this amount, a deal could be struck almost immediately for Erik ten Hag‘s new goalkeeper.

A problem surrounding finalising a deal for Onana has been the future of David de Gea – with less than 38 hours remaining on his current United contract, there is yet to be an indication that he will sign a new one.
Meanwhile, Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport have not revealed that United have “decided to pay” Inter Milan’s £43m-plus-bonuses request for Onana.
They also explain that Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilo will have a new meeting with Onana’s agent in Ibiza on either Thursday or Friday to ‘in principle define’, the player’s future.
As De Gea’s contract expires at the close of play on Friday, it is likely that United will submit their offer for Onana in the coming days as the uncertainty surrounding the Spaniard’s future will finally come to a close.
The first set of United players, those who did not take part in the recent international fixtures, will join pre-season on Monday 3 July – and as Onana did not play for Cameroon, he will be available to train from that date should he sign before then.
