Manchester United stance on Brandon Williams Instagram story revealed
Manchester United are said to be “unhappy” with the actions of Brandon Williams on his Instagram story.
On the night of Manchester City‘s Champions League final victory over Inter Milan in Istanbul, Manchester United defender Brandon Williams posted a series of viral Instagram stories.
Williams did not feature to much extent under Erik ten Hag last season, however, this did not stop the Englishman from gaining a lot of attention on Saturday evening.

On his story, Williams claimed that “Nobody wants a sloppy seconds” in relation to Manchester City becoming the second team in England two win a famed Treble.
He also criticised the words of Ex-United defender Rio Ferdinand after he claimed that Manchester City had become “immortal”.
Williams said: “@rioferdy5 Bet you don’t congratulate if you was player keep the same morals. too face is boring. You don’t praise simple as. Fakessssssssss for [money].”
According to Rob Dawson from ESPN, the club are “disappointed” with Williams’ posts – one source told ESPN that Williams’ comments are “not welcomed”. The club refused to comment when ESPN approached them.
The club are said to have distanced themselves from Williams’ comments.
