Manchester United are set to reject any approach from Saudi Arabia for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as INEOS look to copy a model designed by Manchester City.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the firm second-choice right-back under Erik ten Hag, with the player so far unable to destabilize Diogo Dalot‘s presence in the position at Manchester United.

Despite good performances last season Wan-Bissaka continues to play a backup role to Dalot, who has started most games under Ten Hag so far in the 2023/24 season.

This campaign, the Englishman has seen regular minutes, but only as a consequence of Dalot having to cover for injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia at left-back.

A report from The Telegraph on Tuesday morning claimed that Wan-Bissaka has become a target for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s current side preparing a bid.

However, information from talkSPORT has clarified the situation, explaining that United do not intend to let Wan-Bissaka leave for any club this month.

Meanwhile, it has been reported by iSport that INEOS is looking to replicate the successes of Manchester City by forming a club board that is on par with the current treble holders before then launching new signings in the summer.

The first steps of this have already been taken, with Sir Dave Brailsford and Jean-Claude Blanc being joined on the board by new CEO Omar Berrada, who is reportedly due to start work at the club in the summer.
