Manchester United loan “getting closer” with “more contacts” happening today
Facundo Pellistri is closing in on a loan deal with La Liga side Granada, with the player reportedly eager for the move.
Uruguayan international Pellistri – who has featured for Manchester United just nine times this season – has been linked with several moves this summer as he has struggled to find a settled place in Erik ten Hag’s squad.
But it looks like the 22-year-old may finally be getting his move, with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano all but confirming the deal.

Speaking on X (formerly Twitter), Romano said: “The agreement is getting closer as talks moving fast, more contacts today to get it done between all parties.
“Green light from the player revealed 10 days ago, now almost there.”
This news comes days after the Daily Mail reported that the deal had stalled over a disagreement between the clubs over salary contributions.
Granada are facing a relegation battle this season as the Spanish side sit 19th in La Liga and six points away from safety.
Having secured promotion to the top flight last season, Granada will be hoping the Uruguayan will help solidify their spot in one of the top leagues in Europe.
It is believed that Manchester United aren’t yet interested in selling Pellestri, and new owners INEOS will decide his future once he returns from loan.
