Manchester United aiming for incredible transfer swoop for 16-year-old starlet
Manchester United are reportedly aiming for an incredible transfer scoop for one Premier League starlet this summer.
The Reds have made their first two signings of the summer, with Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro both confirmed by the club.
United are also expected to sign an additional defender and a central midfielder, with INEOS impressing so far in the transfer window.
Yoro, in particular, was a statement signing after beating Real Madrid to the extremely talented defender who has tons of potential.
Interestingly, the Reds could be about to sign another exciting prospect after various reports this Friday.
Initially, AcademyScoop reported that Arsenal starlet Chido Obi-Martin visited Carrington this week to discuss a move to United.
That post was later deleted, and the account revealed that he was asked to remove it. He added that clarity over the situation is expected in the coming days.
Following on from that, an incredibly reliable United youth account on X, MUFC_Youth, uploaded the below post.
Obi-Martin has not signed scholarship terms at Arsenal, and several European giants, including Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, have been eager to sign him.
However, after the reported meetings at Carrington, United appears to be leading that race, and it would be yet another impressive signing from the club.
The 16-year-old scored 32 goals for Arsenal U18s in just 18 games last term. He scored hat-tricks in six different games, with seven goals in a single fixture against Norwich.
The young striker is rated as one of the most exciting talents in the country, and he could soon be pushing for first-team football.
