Manchester United have made a fresh offer for one potential signing as they start ‘concrete talks’ with a new transfer target.

The Reds have now brought in two signings ahead of the first team’s pre-season tour to the United States. Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee have addressed two key areas at either end of the pitch.

However, there are several other targets that INEOS want to bring in before the end of the window. In particular, a midfielder and another centre-back are expected to come in.

According to Christian Falk, the Reds have now offered around £30 million for Matthijs de Ligt, who wants to make the move to Old Trafford this summer.

Bayern Munich had rejected the offer and are demanding £42 million plus add-ons. Negotiations are said to be ongoing.

De Ligt would provide important leadership to Erik ten Hag’s squad, especially considering the potential exits this summer. Raphaël Varane has already departed and Casemiro could also leave the club.

Meanwhile, Sky Germany has reported that United have held ‘concrete talks’ with Bayern regarding Noussair Mazraoui, another of their players.

West Ham are also credited with interest in the report, with both clubs said to be keen on the 26-year-old. The Bundesliga giants are ready to listen to offers for the right-back.

Bayern are aiming to receive around £16-21 million for the player, although the report states that a £12-16 million fee is more realistic.

Interestingly, the Hammers have also been linked with United fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is the player that Mazraoui would replace if he moved to Old Trafford.
