Manchester United fans think Michael Olise has already hinted at his preference to sign for the Old Trafford club.

Michael Olise is reportedly one of Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s primary targets for his first summer transfer window in charge of sporting operations at Manchester United.

On Saturday morning, news broke that Olise preferred to sign for Erik ten Hag‘s club in the summer over a move to Chelsea, who are expected to chase the player once again this summer after almost singing him in 2023.

United are in need of creative firepower, and Olise may be just the player the club requires, with one example being the brilliant free-kick he scored at Selhurst Park against Ten Hag’s men last season.

One thing to notice about the video above is that, despite Olise’s goal being an equaliser in the 90+1′ minute, he lacked any kind of emotional outburst that usually accompanies such a moment – and United fans think this is a hint that he prefers United.

“That’s why he didn’t em celebrate that equaliser against us a few years back when he scored a scorcher of a free kick,” one fan said.

“Can tell he was a utd fan after that freekick vs us last season,” another theorised.

“Maybe that’s why he didn’t celebrate that insane free kick. Others would rip off their shirt and run around the field after scoring that,” a third added.

Others have also pointed out that Manchester United are the only club he follows on X, formerly known as Twitter, despite being a Crystal Palace player. Olise has not been publicly active on the account since March 2022 and has not posted since April 2021.
