Manchester United confirm Rasmus Højlund shirt number ahead of potential debut
Rasmus Højlund has been handed the Manchester United No. 11 shirt ahead of a potential debut against Arsenal.
Erik ten Hag secured the £65 million signing of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund earlier this month, however, the player has been unable to play yet due to an injury.
During his Manchester United medical, it was discovered that Højlund had a minor back problem which could turn into a stress fracture if left untreated, and therefore it was decided that he would spend his first month from the club away from the pitch.

Højlund has been training with the rest of the team for over a week and is likely to make his debut against Arsenal.
Although many expected that Højlund would don the No. 17 after the departure of Fred, this has been handed to Alejandro Garnacho, with the Dane assuming the No. 11 after the departure of Mason Greenwood to Spanish side Getafe on loan.
Højlund is set to make his United debut as the club travel to face Arsenal in the Premier League, although it is unclear as of yet if he will start or make an appearance from the bench.
United have lacked a finishing touch so far this season, having scored four goals from an xG of 7.4 across their three fixtures so far this season, and Højlund will no doubt be able to have a significant impact on the side once he starts playing.
It is unlikely that Ramsus Højlund will start against Arsenal, however, he could well make an appearance off the bench as United continue to monitor his back injury.
