Fabrizio Romano reveals what Manchester United have told Leny Yoro, provides Matthijs de Ligt latest
Fabrizio Romano has revealed what Manchester United have so far told Leny Yoro as the latest on Matthijs de Ligt is provided.
Having already signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for a fee of around £36 million, Manchester United are in discussions for centre-backs Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro while they are also deliberating a third bid for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite.
With Willy Kambwala departing the club earlier this month and the futures of both Victor Lindelöf and Harry Maguire remaining unclear, United are heavily pushing for the signing of 18-year-old Yoro this summer.

In a new update, trasnfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that United have been spesifically showing Yoro their new sporting project, and have informed him that he will earn a “big salary” at Old Trafford should he join.
“Manchester United are insisting on player side, a big salary, a big project, everything being presented to the players, so Man United are trying their best,” Romano explained on his YouTube channel.
“Last week, the bid for Manchester United was accepted by Lille, so this is not a new story, this is something that happened last week on Tuesday, when Manchester United had a bid accepted by Lille, 50 million euros plus add-ons (to total the bid at) over 60 million euros.
“Lille president (Olivier) Létang is insisting for Leny Yoro to go to Manchester United, but Real Madrid are still there, because they believe the player wants to join them. Now it all depends on Leny Yoro.
“Man United are insisting, Man United are pushing with the agent of the player, Man United are pushing directly with the player, presenting a project, offering an important sally, now Leny Yoro has to decide, any moment could be good to say yes to Man United, or wait for Real Madrid.
“But more than the negotiation between Real Madrid and Lille, what’s crucial is the decision of the player.”
Romano also provided an update surrounding the club’s pursuit of De Ligt, explaining that United are still in advanced talks for the player despite recent news going quiet.
Meanwhile, Manchester United still have Matthijs de Ligt as an advanced negotiation with Bayern, so let’s see which option they will activate in the next days.”
