“My dream is Manchester United” – Serie A striker makes Old Trafford transfer wish clear
One Serie A striker has made his desire to sign for Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United clear following his move to Italy last summer.
In the summer transfer window just gone, Erik ten Hag recruited five new first-team players to his Manchester United set-up, signing Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui, and Manuel Ugarte.
They also added a host of new young talent to the academy ranks, such as Sekou Kone and Chido Obi-Martin, who are set to make their way into the squad at points this season.

However, there have already been reports that United are starting to focus on the 2025 summer, looking at signing names such as Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite. One Serie A striker has decided to get his name in early.
Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic, who joined the Serie A side from Dunajska Strada for around £3.4 million, has expressed his desire to move to Old Trafford.
“After the match against Torino he (Mirko Vucinic, Lecce sporting director) told me ‘think about the next one’. Where would I never play? In Bari. My dream is Manchester United,” he admitted to TeleRoma, as reported by Calcio Lecce.
“It’s only the second year here in Lecce. I am very happy, both me and my family. We have friends, and we’re enjoying it, so let’s think about the present.”
Although the 24-year-old Montenegro international is set to make a real mark in the Serie A, the 2024/25 season could be his season to explode.
His record at his previous clubs—37 goals and eight assists in 66 games for Dunajska Strada and 41 goals and one assist in 96 games for Golubovac—proves that he can be a prolific player and maybe one to watch this season.
