Erik ten Hag is contending with fifteen potential injuries as he selects his Manchester United XI to face Sheffield United as the club look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
United have won one of their last seven games in the competition – a 2-0 win over Everton, with the other six ending in three draws and three losses.

When asked what he wants to see from his squad for the rest of the league season, Ten Hag replied simply and effectively: “Win.”
He continued: “In football, it’s about the result and about winning. And we have now two opportunities to go into Europe and one is through the league, and one is through the cup final.
“So, yeah, make sure we’re collecting enough points in the league first because that’s the first opportunity, and then the FA Cup final. We bury that now, for now. We have to refocus and we go into the last week. But, for now, all the focus has to be on the league.”
The XIs for the tie have been confirmed.
