Manchester United won 2-0 against Everton in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford each dispatched penalties, both won by Alejandro Garnacho, to give The Reds the three points.

Erik ten Hag’s side were not been good enough but the positive and direct work from Garnacho on the break was the difference on the afternoon.

Always confident defending the box. Solid display.

A very solid defensive display.

Poor first half in possession. Some better passes in the second half.

Kobbie Mainoo – 6.5/10

Some difficulties with the physicality of the Everton midfield. Better in the second half until subbed off.

Great penalty. Some dodgy moments, better in the second half.

Some sloppy moments in dangerous areas. Decent overall.

Alejandro Garnacho – 8.5/10

Absolutely terrific. Won two penalties with the limited moments in attack. Looked really dangerous all game.

Marcus Rashford – 7/10

A well-taken penalty against his England teammate. Set up Garnacho for the first penalty too. Great defensive work throughout.
