Manchester United fans call for transfer after England draw, Gareth Southgate was right
Manchester United fans have called for INEOS to change their current transfer plans following England’s 1-1 draw against Denmark on Thursday afternoon.
After a 1-0 win over Serbia in their opening match of the 2024 European Championships, England followed up with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Denmark.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been in deep thought, planning their upcoming transfer window. So far, their most significant moves have been for Jarrad Branthwaite.

The club have agreed personal terms with the Everton defender and submitted a bid of £35 million plus a further £8 million in add-ons, although the Merseyside club have since rejected the offer.
They have been firm in their belief that Branthwaite is worth £70 million, and in a new plot twist, the latest reports have indicated that they are now confident that they will be able to hold onto the 21-year-old this summer.
Although United are thought to be waiting for an indication that Everton is willing to lower their asking price, it is claimed that there is “no chance” of that happening.
Therefore, United has begun assessing other options. Following the last two England games, club fans are now calling for Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi to be considered over Branthwaite.
“We should be looking at Guehi btw (by the way) not Branthwaite!” Claimed one supporter. “If Branthwaite isn’t available, I hope we go for Guehi,” another said.
“BTW, “Branthwaite” hype, but I witness Guehi lil bro (dominate) every striker he’s up against,” a third explained.
It is a choice that would make Gareth Southgate feel vindicated following his selection choices for England ahead of the 2024 European Championships.
Many were surprised that the England boss decided to drop Branthwaite from the squad that travelled to Germany, but Guehi has proven his quality alongside John Stones during their opening two fixtures.
