Manchester United expected squad vs West Ham as Erik ten Hag sees two stars return
Erik ten Hag expects two stars to return as Manchester United travel to face West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United are gearing up for a Premier League return with a visit to West Ham.
Although they managed a 2-1 victory over Brentford in their last league match, United sit in 12th place, keeping Erik ten Hag under mounting pressure.

The team recently faced a taxing 1-1 draw away against Fenerbahce in the Europa League and now have only two days to recover before Sunday’s afternoon showdown with West Ham.
This will be Ten Hag’s ninth Premier League match of the season, with United’s record standing at three wins, three losses, and two draws.
Two stars return
While the matchday squad will undoubtedly contain many of the usual first-team members, Ten Hag will likely keep three Academy stars in his side.
Striker Ethan Wheatley, left-back Harry Amas, and right-back Habeeb Ogunneye all travelled to Istanbul with the squad. Although none of them played, they are expected to be included in the team that faces West Ham.
Ten Hag explained on Thursday evening that United will fly straight from Istanbul to London, where the squad will train on Saturday before playing on Sunday, meaning most of the team will be those in Istanbul, minus injuries.
Although Antony will likely not be in the squad after he picked up an injury, Ten Hag is expected to have two of his stars back by Sunday afternoon, when the side travels to the London Stadium.
Bruno Fernandes is again available after returning to the squad after serving a one-match ban in the Europa League. Meanwhile, Ten Hag has also confirmed that he hopes Jonny Evans will be able to join them in London after he missed training earlier this week.
Below is the 21-man squad we expect to see travel to the London Stadium, although only 20 will be named in either the starting XI or substitutes bench.
