Man United told to ‘bring Mason Greenwood back’ by former academy star
Manchester United have been told they must bring Mason Greenwood back to Old Trafford by a former academy star.
Mason Greenwood will likely never play for Manchester United again after the club released a statement saying they thought it was better if the player restarted his career away from Erik ten Hag‘s squad.
Greenwood has not kicked a ball for United since January 2022, after he was accused of domestic abuse and physical assault, among other things. The charges were eventually dropped by the CPS, but United then launched their own internal investigation.

Although the club initially decided that they wanted to bring the player back, backlash from fans led to this decision being reversed and Greenwood going on loan to Getafe for the campaign.
He has since scored five goals for the Madrid-based club, performing well against Atletico Madrid and receiving praise from Antoine Griezmann.
And now, former United academy star Ravel Morrison, now playing for D.C. United in the MLS< has pleaded that the club bring Greenwood back to Old Trafford.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding Greenwood’s future, with the player having been linked to the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks; and although there are an increasing number of people who feel the club should reverse their decision, the club themselves still expect Greenwood to be sold next summer.
