One Manchester United starlet has confirmed his summer plans after scoring on the weekend.

Facundo Pellistri has spent the second half of the season on loan at La Liga side Granada after starting just three games for United this term.

The winger has started nine out of 10 league fixtures for Granada since the beginning of February and has scored twice, as well as providing two assists.

His latest goal came in their last encounter with CA Osasuna, which they won 3-0. He shifted the ball well onto his right foot and smashed it into the roof of the net to open the scoring.

Speaking after the victory, Pellistri expressed his feelings about scoring his second goal of the season and also addressed his future.

“On a personal level, scoring a goal always (helps),” the United loanee said. “In these moments, when we need to win, scoring the goal that opens the game is what I stay with.

“I talk constantly with Manchester United,” he continued. “After each game, we exchange (messages).

“I’m not sure what I’m going to do after La Liga ends. What I am clear about is that I’m going to have to do the pre-season with Manchester.”

United will likely have a depleted pre-season tour squad with many players recovering from their participation at EURO 2024.

That will likely give opportunities to the likes of Pellistri to impress. However, there are uncertainties over many players’ futures at Old Trafford.

Recent reports have stated that only a handful of players, including Kobbie Mainoo, are considered untouchable in the summer transfer market.

Apart from that, much of the squad could be available to be sold, and Pellistri could end up being one of those.

United have many attacking talents and are also reportedly considering a right-wing signing like Michael Olise.

A signing like that could leave even less room for Pellistri at the club.
