Casemiro is considering a change of scenery from Manchester United with an ‘important’ contact on the table for him, according to reports.

Casemiro has missed 14 Manchester United games through injury so far this season, with Erik ten Hag unable to rely on the player who brought so much to his squad last season.

Casemiro was instrumental in United’s Carabao Cup trophy win last season, scoring the opening goal in the final and playing a huge part in the club finishing third in the Premier League.

This season, however, he seems to have somewhat lost his legs, with the player having been out since the first of October with a hamstring strain and not expected back until January 2024.

And now, according to Spanish outlet Marca, Casemiro is considering a “change of scenery” amid an “important offer” from Saudi Arabia, as translated by Sport Witness.

It is said that Casemiro has received a contract that comes with “a lot of money” from the Saudi Pro League and that United want to “completely overhaul” their current squad.

United are said to want to recuperate as much of the £60-odd million that they paid for Casemiro from Real Madrid as possible with the transfer.

Manchester United football director John Murtough recently flew to Saudi Arabia to hold talks with Saudi Pro League representatives, with Casemiro named as one of at least four players who are available for transfer.

The report also mentioned Jadon Sancho, Raphaël Varane, and Anthony Martial, although subsequent reports have explained that Varane does not want to leave Old Trafford.
