Manchester United have reportedly made transfer decisions on Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte as they consider multiple player exits.

The Reds have signed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee so far this summer but are in need of multiple more additions before the end of the window.

In particular, Erik ten Hag’s side need to strengthen their midfield as well as bringing in another centre-back after Willy Kambwala and Raphaël Varane’s exits.

Manuel Ugarte and Matthijs de Ligt have both been heavily linked to those positions, and there have been updates on their situations.

According to TeamTalk, United are aiming to make sales in order to fund a double move for Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte.

They have been in negotiations for both players in recent weeks and have reportedly agreed personal terms with each of them.

However, the report claimed that United know they need to raise funds through player sales before they can commit to other big-name signings.

It was explained that INEOS are ‘trying to sell’ Harry Maguire, Scott McTominay and Casemiro to fund the signings of De Ligt and Ugarte.

There is still an issue of agreeing fees with Bayern Munich and PSG, respectively, but both the clubs and players wanting a deal to materialise will help in that regard.

It remains to be seen where Casemiro would end up should a summer sale occur. Interest from Saudi Arabia has cooled in recent months.
