Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Højlund among Man United players to make dressing room decision

Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Højlund are among a group of young Manchester United players to bond together away from the pitch.
Mainoo, 18, was the star of the show for United on Thursday when he scored a last-minute winner against Wolves. Højlund was delighted for his teammate after the game.
The Danish striker also scored earlier in the game and assisted Marcus Rashford’s opener.
Despite the difficult season so far, United’s main positives have come through their young stars. Mainoo has excited since his emergence, whilst Højlund and Alejandro Garnacho have had extremely bright sparks, albeit mixed with some inconsistencies.
Young talents such as Omari Forson, Willy Kambwala and Dan Gore have also made their first-team debuts under Erik ten Hag this season.
Following United’s latest victory, Højlund has revealed that he and Mainoo, alongside some of the other young talent at the club, have made an online group chat together to help build camaraderie in the dressing room.
“We enjoy spending time together,” £72m summer signing Hojlund told TNT Sports. “The young guys have a little group where we’re chatting to each other, and it’s very cool to have other young players around the team.
“Hopefully, we can set an era for the club and be here many years together. If you’re good enough, you’re old enough, and I think that’s a good thing. We’re here for a reason.”
Højlund was also extremely complimentary of his match-winning teammate, who has started the last six Premier League games in a row.
“You can see Kobbie’s composure,” added the Dane. “He is so relaxed on the ball. Now he’s also starting to show that he has the scoring parts of his game as well. He’s a complete player.”
