Manchester United academy prospect Dan Gore has several clubs interested in his signature on loan for the remainder of the season.

Gore, 19, made his first-team United debut against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup earlier this term and also earned minutes from the bench against Aston Villa last month.

The teenager won the club’s under-21s Player of the Year last term and is highly rated within Carrington and the club.

Currently managed by his family, reports from MailOnline state that Gore is being approached by a number of agents who are promising to find the player a club on loan this month.

It was added that the young midfielder accepts that he needs regular competitive game-time to push forward to the next stage of his development, and United are considering loan proposals in January.

There has been some interest from the Championship, however, the aforementioned report explained that more concrete interest has come from League One clubs.

Bolton Wanderers, Blackpool, Shrewsbury Town and Fleetwood are among the club’s keen to take Gore on loan.

Shola Shoretire spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton, making 16 appearances.

Gore’s debut for United earlier in the season came on his 19th birthday, but manager Erik ten Hag ensured that he worked hard for the opportunity.

It’s a good birthday for him, but I’m not a coach who gives opportunities to players [for no reason], they have to earn it. Once they earn it, they have their chance,” he told MUTV.

“They have to earn it every day in training. I don’t hand opportunities to young players. They must consistently prove their worth in training because if they don’t, it can affect the team.

“We are very critical. They have to deserve itevery day in training. And when the standards are too low, they will hurt us, and we don’t play them because they have to train every day to the maximum.”
