Super-agent Jorge Mendes informs club of Manchester United’s growing interest in “spectacular” starlet

Manchester United are interested in signing an exciting Serie A talent who is being represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes in the summer window.

Ruben Amorim will be wanting some important signings at Manchester United in the summer transfer window to improve his current squad.

Jason Wilcox, the club’s technical director, and the recruitment team at Old Trafford have already started to identify several potential targets for the team.

It has also been reported that among several positions, the Reds are aiming to strengthen their attacking depth with a centre-forward and another player who can play in the duel no.10 roles.

Various options have been linked with a move, including Juventus starlet Kenan Yildiz, with the Italian club being made aware of that interest.

Mendes informs Juventus of United’s interest in Yildiz

According to a fresh report from Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jorge Mendes, the super-agent who represents Yildiz, has informed Juventus of the “growing interest” from United in his client.

Mendes is one of the most-known agents in football and has many extremely talented clients, including Leny Yoro, who United signed last summer.

The Serie A club are facing the prospect of selling Yildiz, who has been described as “spectacular”, in order to balance their books.

This also follows on from a TeamTalk report last week which claimed United had made initial contact for Juventus’ 19-year-old starlet.

However, it was also mentioned that Juventus have set a £75 million price tag for the teenager, which is a price that United are unlikely to match in their current financial state.

United must act fast this summer

United are once again being linked to many players months before the transfer window opens. It is a normal occurrence now.

However, too often those deals were either never on or don’t happen – which leaves the Reds scrambling towards the end of the transfer window.

With the full team now in place, United need to make sure they can do efficient and quick business when the summer transfer window opens.

It is a cliché, but having his signings in the door ready for the start of pre-season could make a major difference for Amorim and the team.
