Jesse Lingard’s FC Seoul wage revealed as he completes South Korea move
Jesse Lingard has signed for South Korea side FC Seoul, where his wages have been revealed by local news outlets.
Jesse Lingard spent over 20 years at Manchester United, where he became a club icon during a very down period at the club, scoring in three finals to help the club win multiple trophies.
Lingard won the FA Cup, Europa League, Carabao Cup, and Community Shield while under Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho before he eventually left the club for free in June 2022.

After a season at Nottingham Forest, Lingard has now signed for South Korea side FC Seoul, where his new wage has been revealed.
According to Chosun Ilbo, via Korea JoongAng Daily, two of the country’s leading news outlets, Lingard is in line to earn £17,500 per week – or £910,000 per year, which is a far cry from the £100,000 per week deal he has at United from 2017.
“I’ve always wanted a different challenge and to create new memories in my career,” Lingard said in a YouTube video following the move. “I believe South Korea is the perfect place for that.”
He also went on to say he had received “many offers” but had decided he wanted a new football experience.
“FC Seoul showed me great passion, sending me a concrete offer on paper while other clubs were contacting me verbally,” Lingard said at a news conference.
“They also came to Manchester to check my physical condition as well.”
