Transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio has provided the latest on Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United following his return under Erik ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho, 24, spent the latter part of last season away from Manchester United following a conflict with manager Erik ten Hag, who had dropped him from the squad for a match against Arsenal.

Since the end of August last year, Sancho hasn’t played for United, with Ten Hag citing poor training performances as the reason for his exclusion. Sancho, however, publicly denied these claims, leading to his removal from the squad and a six-month loan to Borussia Dortmund.

Despite widespread speculation that he would be sold this summer, Sancho recently had an extensive discussion with Ten Hag, during which they resolved their issues. Now, Sancho has rejoined the United team and is fully engaged in pre-season training.

He started and played 45 minutes as United defeated Rangers 2-0 in a pre-season fixture on Saturday afternoon, where new signing Leny Yoro also made his unofficial debut for the Reds.

Despite Sancho rejoining the team, in a new twist of events, Italian transfer expert Gianluca di Marzio has explained that he remains on the list of Juventus.

“Juventus are looking for wingers, but they need to sell before they can buy,” Di Marzio told wettbasis. “They need to sell Federico Chiesa, they need to sell Matias Soulé. They need to raise money to get their desired players.

“(Karim) Adeyemi and Sancho appeal to them, but they have only spoken with agents so far. Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli likes to have agents in his hands. Both Adeyemi and Sancho are on Juventus’ list.”

Further, news broke on Monday morning that Paris St. Germain have also shown interest in Sancho and that the two clubs have been in discussions for several days.

“We spoke well. Anyone can make a mistake,” Ten Hag said after Sancho returned to training. “If the player reflects well on that, then draw a line and continue again.

“This club needs good players, and one thing is for sure: Jadon Sancho is a terribly good player. I hope the click will come after all and that it will contribute to our success.”
