Jadon Sancho could ‘play this week’ with Borussia Dortmund loan “imminent”
Jadon Sancho looks set on securing a six-month loan deal to Borussia Dortmund after he was exiled from Manchester United’s first-team squad.
Jadon Sancho has not played for Manchester United since the end of August after a public spat with Erik ten Hag led to the winger being barred from all first-team activities at Carrington and Old Trafford.
Sancho was dropped from United’s squad to face Arsenal back in September, with Ten Hag citing poor training performances as the reason, with the player subsequently releasing a statement on social media claiming that the manager was scapegoating him for the team’s poor performances.

Sancho then refused to apologise to Ten Hag for his words, and he was then dropped from all first-team training, being forced to practice with the youth squads instead.
With United now keen to get rid of Sancho as soon as they can, a deal is soon to be made with Borussia Dortmund, where the winger will spend the rest of the season on loan.
This is according to Patrick Berger, who explained on Wednesday morning that the completion of the deal is now “imminent”.
Berger further says that Sancho could play with Dortmund this coming week as he may join the BVB training camp in Marbella, Spain, where they will play against AZ Alkmaar this coming weekend in a club friendly on Saturday, 6 January.
The squad will also face Standard de Liège in a second friendly days later against Standard de Liège, before returning to Bundesliga action against Darmstadt away from home on 13 January.
