Jadon Sancho agrees with Borussia Dortmund director over long-term future amid INEOS opportunity
Jadon Sancho agrees with Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl over his future after his loan from Manchester United.
Sancho, 23, arrived back in Germany in the January transfer window on a six-month loan deal.
The winger had been banished from Erik ten Hag‘s first-team squad after a public statement from the player at the start of the season.

He returned to his former side, Dortmund, to try and rekindle his career after a difficult spell at Old Trafford.
However, the German club’s sporting director recently played down the chances of Sancho signing on a permanent deal in the summer.

“Unfortunately for both players (Sancho and Ian Maatsen), neither option was really realistic. If you know what we got for Jadon Sancho two and a half years ago, then you know also that it might now be very, very difficult,” he said.
Now, a new report from BILD has added that Sancho himself doesn’t expect to have a chance to stay at the Bundesliga club beyond the summer. He will continue to live in the team hotel “l’Arrivée” until the end of the season.
Whether or not United look to sell the wide player to another club is unknown, with recent information from Football Insider claiming that a final decision on Sancho’s future is now being postponed until the end of the season.
That report added that if Erik ten Hag was sacked by INEOS, who are now in charge of all football operations and appointments at the club, before the end of the season, Sancho could still “have a part to play” at Old Trafford in the future.
Sancho has played 82 games for United since he signed, scoring 12 goals and assisting six.
