Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United have sent scouts to watch an incredible Premier League talent ahead of the summer window.

Ruben Amorim has struggled to turn around Manchester United’s poor form this season, with his squad facing difficulties adapting to his system.

A shortage of quality options has put the Portuguese coach in a challenging position, often relying on youngsters to fill the bench.

With the summer transfer window approaching, United’s leadership views it as a crucial opportunity to strengthen the squad and provide Amorim with the reinforcements he needs.

Reports have already suggested that the Reds have identified several priority positions to improve on when the season finishes.

Romano reveals United are scouting Dibling

It has been claimed that United are looking for a player to operate in the right-sided no.10 role in Amorim’s system, with the view that Amad would move to wingback.

There are various potential options for that position, including Southampton starlet Tyler Dibling, who is extremely highly-rated.

Dibling forced his way into the Southampton side this season after Jason Wilcox – previously director of football at St Mary’s before joining United – pleaded for the youngster to be given a chance last term.

The Reds have been linked with the 19-year-old winger in recent months and Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that club scouts have been sent to watch him closely.

Speaking about Dibling to GiveMeSport, Romano said: “It’s a complicated season for Southampton, but he’s still considered one of the best talents around.

“And so, for example, I heard several times about Man United, and also Liverpool sending their scouts to follow the player.”

Dibling would start consistently for United

Dibling will have a lot of clubs interested in his signature in the summer, especially since Southampton are set to be relegated to the Championship.

Former United defender Paul Parker has told the teenager that he could become a hero at Old Trafford, being part of the team to turn the club’s fortunes back around.

The exciting talent may also consider his chances of consistent minutes in a United shirt, which would be extremely likely in Parker’s opinion.

“Dibling would be looking at the Man United midfield and think to himself: I am better than all of them,” the ex-United defender said.
