One Manchester United player was slammed by commentators during the club’s Premier League clash against Chelsea on Thursday evening.

United lost the encounter 4-3 after a monumental collapse in the final moments of the game.

Two goals from Cole Palmer in the final two minutes of added time won the game for Chelsea and seemed to put even more pressure on Erik ten Hag.

The Reds had positive spells during the game but also some embarrassingly poor moments.

Casemiro started alongside Kobbie Mainoo and looked out of his depth at Stamford Bridge.

The former Real Madrid midfielder failed to keep up with the intense game, and one moment stood out particularly.

Mid-way through the first half, with Chelsea on the break, the Brazilian looked physically shot like he was running through mud. He was easily bypassed as The Blues drove towards André Onana’s box.

Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher were perplexed by the moment from the 32-year-old on TNT Sports commentary.

McCoist said: “I can’t believe him, it’s like he’s not there, what is going on. What is Casemiro doing there?”

Fletcher added: “Casemiro was just trotting back as the Chelsea players ran past him…”

United’s defeat leaves them 11 points behind Aston Villa and nine behind Tottenham Hotspur.
