“He’d be our Doku” – Manchester United fans rave about first new target after INEOS announcement
Manchester United fans are raving after the first new transfer target following the announcement of INEOS’ new sporting control at Old Trafford.
INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are set to take full sporting control of Manchester United after the club confirmed that the British billionaire will take a 25% stake in the Old Trafford club on Sunday afternoon.
Ratcliffe will become the single largest shareholder in the club, and with full sporting control of Erik ten Hag‘s side pending once the Premier League tests are completed, many are eager to see which players may be incoming to Old Trafford over the next few windows.

On Tuesday morning, United were linked to PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko, whom German reporter Christopher Michel claims has a market value of around £35 million, with United said to be “keeping their eye” on the player.
Bakayoko becomes the first new player to be linked with the club after the purchase of £1.3 billion worth of shares was confirmed, with many fans eager to see the 20-year-old Belgian international join United.
Whether Bakayoko ends up joining the club is another matter, but with United lacking in creative outlets this season, a winger who has four goals and 13 assists to his name already this season may be exactly what Ten Hag needs.
