Manchester United have been told that goalkeeper target Justin Bijlow is not for sale as Erik ten Hag looks for alternative options to André Onana.

Who will be in goal for Manchester United next season has been a big talking point so far this summer, with Erik ten Hag looking for a new first choice ‘keeper.

With André Onana said to be ‘too expensive’ as Inter Milan are asking for at least £60 million, it was claimed on Saturday that Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow has caught the attention of Ten Hag.

It was said by The Athletic that United have contacted the Dutch club over a potential move for the club, but it has since come out that he is not for sale.

As per Voetbal International, Feyenoord are set to deny United’s chances of signing the goalkeeper, with the club wanting to extend his contract.

However, Bijlow himself is claimed to be open to the move, and would “love to make a transfer to one of the biggest clubs in the world”.

Erik ten Hag is said to have recently contacted Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese through United’s John Murtough, with his interest in the Netherlands international having dated back months.

Despite the fact that his contract has now expired, United remain in talks with David de Gea.

De Gea, who is due back in England soon after getting married, will hold face-to-face talks with the club in the coming weeks surrounding his future at Old Trafford.
