Fabrizio Romano reveals ‘perfect’ star could be offered to Manchester United in Jadon Sancho swap deal

Jadon Sancho has been linked to a number of clubs in recent weeks. Juventus have emerged as front-runners, with the Turin club willing to offer a trio of players to secure the signing

Jadon Sancho’s time at Manchester United has fallen short of expectations for both the player and the club, making a permanent departure this summer appear increasingly likely.

At one point, it seemed a resolution was near when Chelsea agreed to take Sancho on loan with an obligation to buy. However, the London side ultimately chose to pay a £5 million penalty to avoid finalizing the transfer.

In recent weeks, Sancho’s representatives have been actively seeking a new destination ahead of the summer window, with Juventus emerging as a potential suitor for the 25-year-old winger.

Clubs such as Fenerbahçe also showed some tentative interest in bringing in the want-away winger, but his wage demands made the deal unrealistic.

Juventus offer trio for Sancho

As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano for GiveMeSport, Juventus have had two direct contacts to be informed on the situation surrounding Sancho in the last week, and Juventus have already spoken to the player’s camp to discuss his future.

Having already been offered for a potential swap deal for another want away winger, Antony, Douglas Luiz has once again been offered as one of the options discussed in the Sancho deal, and the Brazilian midfielder has been touted as a perfect player for United.

Dusan Vlahovic and Tim Weah are also players that are available for sale this summer, and United have been informed about this. As of yet, the club didn’t proceed with any advanced contact.

The trio of players earn a reported £500,000-a-week, and with Juventus not wanting to cover all of Sancho’s salary, there are a number of different scenarios that are available on the table.

United need to sell players

Players like Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Alejandro Garnacho appear increasingly likely to leave Manchester United this summer, and it would be in everyone’s best interest for these situations to be resolved quickly.

One of the key challenges facing Rúben Amorim is that many of the players pushing for exits are attracting interest primarily for loan deals rather than permanent transfers. Real Betis are keen to take Antony back on loan, while Barcelona would prefer a temporary move for Rashford over a full purchase.

Additionally, if United were able to get Vlahovic or Luiz, or even both, it would both add depth to a position where Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro underperformed, as well as signing a much needed out-and-out striker.

Ultimately, they need to take what they can get from their want-away players, such as Sancho, Rashford and Antony, but growing interest in these stars will help bump up their price tags.
