Fabrizio Romano provides exciting Man United transfer update after Dan Ashworth comment
Fabrizio Romano has provided a new and exciting update on Manchester United’s current transfer situation.
The Reds have already signed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee so far this summer but they are looking to add more players to the squad before the end of the window.
After a few days of minimal movement, United agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for Noussair Mazraoui in recent days and that deal will be complete once Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s exit is finalised.
However, there could be further additions and news in the coming days, with Fabrizio Romano claiming that it will be “an important week” for the club, who are working on “several fronts”.
“This will be an important week for Man United because many things could happen on several things,” he told his YouTube channel.
“We will see if it’s going to be time for ‘Here We Go’ for some deal done, but Man United are working on several fronts.”
This follows on from new reports on Matthijs de Ligt, with Sky detailing that a move is still on despite injury to Bayern’s new defender Hiroki Ito.
Manuel Ugarte is another option that United are in for, and movement could happen in the coming days, as well as Sofyan Amrabat, who remains a target.
Dan Ashworth, Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada and Sir Dave Brailsford have all travelled to the United States with the squad this summer and were spotted after the latest open training session.
When a supporter asked who the next signing would be, Ashworth smiled. “I’m not allowed. You’ve got to speak to the boss,” he laughed.
Yet, they are working together excellently so far, and it is refreshing to see multiple deals being worked on at once this summer.
