Everton are said to be targeting Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer as Manchester United’s decision on Sofyan Amrabat becomes increasingly clear.

Manchester United are looking to offload multiple players this summer as INEOS look to raise as much capital early in the window for new incomings.

While players such as Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho are expected to leave, other big names such as Scott McTominay and Casemiro are likely to depart Old Trafford this summer.

However, another name has popped up as a potential departure, with right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka attracting interest from Premier League rivals Everton.

Wan-Bissaka has lost his starting place to Diogo Dalot under Erik ten Hag, and according to HITC, Everton are now interested in the player United signed for £45 million from Crystal Palace in 2019.

According to the report, with Wan-Bissaka’s future currently unclear, Everton is keeping an eye on the Englishman’s situation at Old Trafford, while Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Galatasaray are also keeping tabs.

Meanwhile, United’s final decision regarding Amrabat is becoming increasingly evident. Amrabat has ultimately failed to live up to expectations at United following his loan move from Fiorentina in 2023, which cost United £8.5 million.

United paid an inflated loan fee at the time because they expected to sign him permanently next summer, hence the £20 million purchase option in his contract. However, after a season of multiple poor performances, it seems as if this will not be triggered.

After solid games towards the end of the season, it was theorised that United were delaying a final decision on Amrabat until the managerial position had been cleared up, but with Ten Hag now confirmed to be staying, no further action has been taken.

It was clear that Ten Hag was not keen on Amrabat towards the end of 2023/24, so it seems that the club have decided that Amrabat will return to the Serie A once his contract expires at the end of the month.
