Erik ten Hag addresses Sofyan Amrabat and Sergio Reguilón Manchester United transfers
Manchester United are sitting deep into transfer deadline day as Erik ten Hag fields questions about two new signings.
Manchester United are expected to announce the signing of Sergio Reguilón on a one-year loan deal to replace the injured Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia on deadline day.
The loan deal also sees United have a January break clause, as well as taking on all of Reguilón’s £120k-a-week wages and paying no loan fee to Tottenham Hotspur.

Erik ten Hag is also looking to bring in one more midfielder, with Sofyan Amrabat the name on everyone’s lips.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Arsenal tie, Ten Hag revealed that Reguilon has been training with the squad ahead of the upcoming fixture.
“He’s here. He trained. He will be available,” said the manager.
“He’s a very experienced player, played for big clubs, already played a lot of La Liga and Premier League games, he has a very good background, he can play very intense football, we are happy.
“We had a problem with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia injured, we responded well in that emergency situation.”
Meanwhile, the Dutch boss was more coy in his response about Amrabat. “There are so many rumours, but it’s nice, heh?” he said after being questioned on the deal.
“I can’t tell because I don’t know. When we have news, we will tell you.”
It has been reported by Fabrizio Romano, among others, that a deal has been agreed between the clubs for United to sign Amrabat on an initial loan move.
Manchester United will play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon as Ten Hag looks to build momentum after a rocky start to the season.
