Cristiano Ronaldo is demanding Al Nassr sign Casemiro from Manchester United
Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly demanding that Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr sign Casemiro from Manchester United.
Casemiro joined Manchester United in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around £60 million from Real Madrid, establishing himself at the base of Erik ten Hag‘s midfield.
The Brazilian scored six goals for United last season, including the opening goal of the 2023 Carabao Cup final, while also providing six assists, becoming one of the club’s most pivotal players during Ten Hag’s maiden campaign at Old Trafford.

However, 2023/24 has seen the player miss 17 games with a hamstring issue, with Casemiro only recently returning to first-team training at the start of the new year.
According to Footmercato, Casemiro is now a target for Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League at the request of their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo played alongside Casemiro at both Manchester United and Real Madrid, and the midfielder is said to be “interested” in the “new challenge”.
Casemiro is on a list of players who are reportedly free to leave for the right price in the coming summer, with others such as Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho also likely to be sold at the end of the season.
He was in the squad as Manchester United played against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, however did not feature off the bench.
