With Premier League football now back underway this weekend, the match referees for Brentford vs Manchester United have been confirmed.

Manchester United will be kicking off their final push for Champions League football as they face Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The rather unusual 20:00 GMT kick-off will take place at the Gtech Community Stadium, with Erik ten Hag keen to get the ball rolling with three points on the board.

United left domestic football on a high note two weeks ago when they defeated Liverpool in a thrilling 4-3 FA Cup quarter-final and will look to kick on from now ahead of the final ten games of the season.

The match officials have been confirmed.

Simon Hooper (pictured below) will blow the whistle at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The experienced referee has taken charge of three United games this season; the 1-0 win over Wolves on the opening day, United’s 2-0 loss against West Ham in December, and also the most recent league fixture – a 2-0 win over Everton.

Adrian Holmes and Simon Long will be on the sidelines, acting as assistant referees for Hooper during the game. Gavin Ward has been handed the fourth official job, separating Erik ten Hag and Thomas Frank on Saturday.

The Video Assistant Referee job has been handed to Stuart Attwell, who Marc Perry will assist.
