Antony’s agent releases statement surrounding Manchester United future
Manchester United have not shown any intention of selling Antony in this transfer window or in the summer, according to the player’s agent.
Since joining United from Ajax for £86 million in 2022, the second most expensive signing for the club behind Paul Pogba, Antony has been one of the main areas of frustration for fans in an underwhelming forward line.
The Brazilian only has 11 goal contributions for the club in 66 games, he has more yellow cards (12), and Erik ten Hag puts his lack of form down to off-the-field issues of being accused by his ex-girlfriend of assault.

The winger strongly denies these claims and spent time in his home country from September to October to defend his case.
After returning to England, the 23-year-old’s performances have not improved, and it has been widely reported in the press that United have offered Antony to clubs in Saudi Arabia along with exiled talent Jadon Sancho who has been loaned off Borussia Dortmund till the end of the season.
However, according to his agent, Junior Pedroso, the player has had no conversations with the club about a potential move away.
“Manchester has so far not communicated any interest in transferring him in either the January or summer window,” said Pedroso to United In Focus.
United’s No. 21 is fully aware that if he doesn’t help the team with the goals soon then an exit from Old Trafford is likely as he faces competition for his position from the likes of Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho.
Pedroso adds: “Antony is focused on these four months of the season so he can improve his performance, knowing that he needs to score goals and assists. This is his focus. Today our head is on Manchester United.
“He knows very well that he needs to score; there’s no point in just playing good games; he has to score goals and provide assists. He is very coherent about this. He will come back different, his head has become a little key and certainly in these four months he will show much more than he showed this season.”
