André Onana considering Cameroon future as Manchester United youngster becomes summer target
André Onana is reportedly considering his future in international football as Cameroon crash out of AFCON.
Cameroon exited AFCON in the round of 16 after Nigeria defeated them 2-0, with Manchester United‘s André Onana playing only one of their four fixtures during the tournament.
There was much made of Onana’s appearances at AFCON after he was allowed to extend his stay under Erik ten Hag to play two further games instead of preparing with Cameroon, and he was eventually dropped.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Onana is reportedly considering returning from international duty following the drama, a move he also pulled after a fallout during the 2022 World Cup.
Meanwhile, the Mail also report that Facundo Pellistri has become the target for a permanent move in the summer.
Pellistri is set to secure a six-month loan deal with La Liga side Grenada ahead of the end of the January transfer window, and there is no buy option in the deal.
However, Grenada are reportedly still going to try and sign the player in the summer if the loan deal goes go through.
Pellistri joined United from Uruguayan club Peñarol for a fee of around £9 million in 2020.
