Altay Bayindir has “signed an agreement” to leave Manchester United this summer
According to reports from Turkey, Altay Bayındır has “signed an agreement” to leave Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
Altay Bayındır has played only one game for Manchester United since he signed a five-year contract in the 2023 summer transfer window.
He joined Erik ten Hag‘s side during the same window as André Onana, with the idea that the Turkish international would be Onana’s understudy – but he has received almost no game time.

Onana has played in all but one fixture for United, a 4-2 win over Newport County in the FA Cup, where Bayındır made his debut but was quickly relegated back to the bench.
According to the Turkish outlet Futbol Anadolu, Galatasaray have now signed an agreement with Altay Bayındır
It is claimed that the United No. 1 will wear the Galatasaray jersey for the 2024/25 season – although it is not directly stated, this is assumed to be a season-long loan agreement.

“I need to say I’m feeling special today because I was playing [as] the first Turkish player [for Man Utd], and I’m feeling very proud of myself,” Bayındır told club media after his debut in January.
“Of course, I always want to play more games, but we have a good relationship with all the goalkeepers,” he continued.
“If the manager will give [us a] chance, we will play, and we will give everything. We know our responsibility because we are playing in a big club, we need to give [our all] every day, every game, we need everything.
“Of course, I want to play with this great team, this great atmosphere, and in Old Trafford. I want to play in there with the fans.”
