Alejandro Garnacho has sent Real Madrid a five-word message following rumours that Florentino Perez wants to meet with the winger next month.

Alejandro Garnacho has been fantastic for Manchester United this season, progressing well from his debut campaign in the first team under Erik ten Hag a year ago.

He has started United’s last 25 fixtures across all competitions, and has become an essential part of United’s attack with his dog-like and seemingly unlimited energy on both the right and left wing.

He was crucial for United’s recent 4-3 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals, grabbing two assists, including for Amad Diallo’s winning goal.

According to Madrid-based outlet DefencaCentral, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants to meet Alejandro Garnacho when he travels to Manchester on 17 April as part of the club’s game against Manchester City in the Champions League.

It is claimed that Perez wants to sign the former Atletico Madrid winger for Real Madrid this summer.

However, Garnacho has already stated that his loyalty is and remains to Manchester United, explaining in a social media post that he “loves” the club.

This sends a clear message to Real Madrid that he is not looking to exit the team that has given him the platform to express and improve his game over the last three seasons.

Garnacho is forming a formidable partnership with striker Rasmus Højlund as well as with academy midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who has set the Premier League alight of late with his brilliant performances.
