Latest Manchester United plot twist sees shift in Harry Kane stance
Manchester United’s need for a goal-scoring No.9 will continue into the summer transfer window, but reports say Victor Osimhen is preferred to Harry Kane.
Links to Tottenham’s all-time top goal scorer Harry Kane have been present for the last couple of years but have always failed to materialise.

At 29 years old, the North-Western side have reportedly come to the agreement that the final price would be too expensive and that other options are more plausible.
According to transfer guru David Ornstein, the price to convince Tottenham would be ‘astronomical’, and United can’t risk enduring a lengthy transfer saga for a position which is so vital to fill.
Negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur also may prove too difficult with the club’s chairman infamous for his fearsome tactics when it comes to exchanging players.

With all things considered, Napoli’s Osimhen is likely a much better fit for the Erik ten Hag era. The Nigerian striker is hungry for goals and is five years junior to his Spurs counterpart.

Even if the fee for Osimhen is larger than what it would cost for the signature of Kane, the former is a long-term solution to United’s reference point problem, whereas there’s every chance that we’ve witnessed Kane at the peak of his powers.
