Manchester United kick off their 2023 pre-season tour with a fixture against Leeds United in Norway.
Playing in the capital city Oslo, the Reds will be facing their historical rivals at the Ullevaal Stadium on the Wednesday 12 July.
Erik ten Hag’s side have now returned to training at Carrington ahead of the eight-game pre-season, which includes four matches in the United States.
New signing Mason Mount will likely make his unofficial debut for the club after his £60 million signing from Chelsea earlier this week. Whilst David de Gea will not be travelling after confirming his exit from the club on Saturday afternoon.
Whilst players who took part in the latest international duty – such as Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes, among others – will not be available for the opening pre-season fixture, Ten Hag will still have a strong squad at his disposal.
There are also several talented young players who are likely to be gifted an opportunity in Norway, including several talents who have had changes to their squad numbers, which will excite fans.
