Manchester United are working hard ahead of their next Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest as they search for another win.
Manchester United seem to have finally hit their stride this season, recording three consecutive wins in the Premier League.
After a shaky start that put Ruben Amorim under early pressure, the Reds have shown clear signs of progress with victories over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.
The win at Anfield earlier this month stood out as a major highlight, but following it up with another assured display and result against Brighton may have been even more telling for Amorim’s side.
In the past year, United have often impressed in high-profile fixtures only to lose focus in games they were expected to control. That wasn’t the case against Brighton.
Next up, United travel to face Nottingham Forest, now managed by newly appointed Sean Dyche. The in-form Reds will be looking to maintain their momentum and secure a fourth straight league win.
Ahead of the game, the Reds have uploaded images of the squad in training and UtdDistrict have noted three interesting things from the session.
Wilcox watching on
United’s director of football Jason Wilcox was pictured watching the team’s training session on Sunday afternoon after the win over Brighton.
Wilcox has a close relationship with Amorim, as does chief executive Omar Berrada, and both have their offices at Carrington.
It is easy to forget how different this set-up is than beforehand, where the relationship between the manager and higher-ups was almost non-existent. It is positive how close Wilcox and Berrada seem to be to Amorim and his squad.
Young stars involved
As always, first-team training sessions after games provides great opportunities for academy talent to be involved and there were plenty of talented stars in action this week.
Victor Musa, Finley McAllister and Sam Mather were among the Under-21 players to be included in Amorim’s session.
Under-18s centre-back Jayden Ngwashi was also included in the session even though he is only 16 years old. The young defender is extremely highly rated at Old Trafford.
Malacia back in contention
Tyrell Malacia looked certain to leave the club in the summer but his exit broke down and he remained at United past deadline day. He finally returned to the squad in the Brighton win.
He was pictured in good spirits during the training sessions and it now seems like he could be an option to play on that left flank.

Patrick Dorgu and Diogo Dalot have both flattered to deceive in recent months and Malacia will certainly be thinking that there is a chance for him to stake a claim on that wing, which is not something any fan would have expected in the summer.
