Thomas Tuchel addressed Erik ten Hag problem amid Man United links
Thomas Tuchel has been linked with a move to Manchester United after he leaves Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
It has been confirmed that the former Chelsea manager will be leaving the Bundesliga giants at the season’s end, with the club sitting eight points away from Bayer Leverkusen in the first spot.
Of course, Erik ten Hag is going through difficulties at Old Trafford, with United sitting sixth in the Premier League and now eight points away from Aston Villa in fourth place following their 2-1 defeat against Fulham.
Ten Hag’s long-term future at the club is uncertain, but the eventual replacement if he does leave is also unknown.
Tuchel has cropped up as a potential option in recent weeks, with Sky Germany having reported that he is ‘definitely interested’ in becoming the manager at Old Trafford one day.
However, earlier this season, before he faced United in the Champions League group stages, Tuchel had offered his sympathy for Ten Hag for dealing with managing the club throughout the takeover stage.

The German coach had experienced similar difficulties at Chelsea and explained the troubles that the United boss was going through.
“I sympathise with all of my colleagues, no matter if they have a change of ownership or not, I always sympathise with all of them,” he told reporters at the time.
“It’s sometimes demanding, and I know it’s sometimes more difficult than it looks from the outside; I think I know what it takes to manage big clubs and big players, and it’s sometimes demanding and sometimes periods you feel a bit stuck, and the changes aren’t coming quickly enough for you as a coach.
“That’s why I sympathise heavily for my colleague, but not tomorrow; of course, we try to beat him… but I’m pretty sure Man United will bounce back like always.”
United would lose out against the Bundesliga champions and eventually be knocked out of the Champions League.
