Theo Walcott says ‘Arsenal should have bought’ Manchester United star, he is ‘incredible’

Former Arsenal player Theo Walcott believes that the North London club should have signed a player who is now shining for Manchester United.

Manchester United look to have found their rhythm at last, putting together three consecutive wins in the Premier League.

After a shaky start that saw Ruben Amorim come under early pressure, the Reds have shown clear signs of progress with victories over Sunderland, Liverpool, and Brighton.

The triumph at Anfield earlier this month was a statement result, but following it up with another composed performance and solid win against Brighton may have been even more significant for Amorim’s men.

In recent seasons, United have often delivered in the big games but struggled to maintain that same focus against lower-ranked sides. This time, however, they kept their concentration and intensity throughout.

Next up, United travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest, now managed by newly appointed Sean Dyche. The in-form Reds will aim to extend their winning run and continue building momentum in the league.

Walcott says Arsenal should have signed Mbeumo

United’s recent form is not down to one player, but the most influential star has probably been Bryan Mbeumo on the right side of attack.

The ex-Brentford star has scored three goals and registered one assist in his last three outings, earning himself a nomination for the Premier League Player of the Month.

Fans have been delighted with his impact, and Theo Walcott believes he is an ‘incredible player’ who his former side Arsenal should have signed beforehand.

“I think Mbeumo has been incredible as a player,” Walcott said on It’s Called Soccer. “Arsenal should have bought him many, many years ago.

“This United team are so confident. They are starting to click. We want to see United challenge, it’s better for the league, it’s better for everyone. They are exciting to watch.”

United attack can improve further

United finally have players in their frontline who other teams are jealous of, and that is a good feeling.

Whatever is happening at Old Trafford, there is always a better feeling if you know that you have attacking talent with quality who will excite you.

Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha are players who could get into many teams in the Premier League, while Benjamin Šeško is also looking more impressive than many other no.9s this term.

The most exciting part about the United attack is that those players are not yet playing at their full potential, and fans are hoping to see that soon.
