The first all-Manchester FA Cup final is upon us. Manchester United face rivals Manchester City at Wembley, as they bid to win their second trophy of the season.

The Red Devils have already had success at Wembley this season, having won the Carabao Cup in February.

Manchester United ended the Premier League season in a strong way, winning four games in a row to ensure a third place. Erik ten Hag’s side beat Wolves, Bournemouth, Chelsea, and Fulham consecutively to end the season on a high.

Pep Guardiola’s side secured a third straight Premier League title, the other week. They are chasing a treble, with the FA Cup the next available trophy for them. United will be hoping to prevent them from achieving this feat.

Here is a look at each team’s player to watch, which focuses on what could a key battle at Wembley.

Manchester United – Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Of all the players who have improved most under Erik ten Hag, Aaron Wan-Bissaka might have made the biggest development. The 25-year-old struggled for game time prior to the World Cup but has since become an important player under Ten Hag.

If there is one thing that can be said about Wan-Bissaka, it is that he is an excellent one-vs-one defender. This season, he has given some of the Premier League’s best wingers a very tough time against him.

There is no doubt he will be hoping to put in another strong defensive performance on Saturday, in a bid to help United keep City at bay.

Manchester City – Jack Grealish

Without a doubt, United should be wary of Erling Haaland. The Norwegian scored 52 goals this season and is an obvious threat. However, United should also be wary of Jack Grealish.

Coming up against Wan-Bissaka, Grealish will potentially be in for a tough afternoon at Wembley. The winger had had an impressive season following the World Cup and has become a key part of the Manchester City side of late.

United, and Wan-Bissaka, will be hoping to keep the England international quiet on Saturday.
